Raising Cane’s Preps for Rogers Debut

Popular chicken finger brand with focus on community service to celebrate grand opening next Tuesday

ROGERS, AR (July 28, 2016) – Fayetteville shouldn’t have all the fun!

Ever since Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers opened its first Arkansas restaurant in Fayetteville last summer, Caniacs in Rogers have been craving a Cane’s of their own.

Next Tuesday, their wish will be granted.

The popular Louisiana-based restaurant company known for its ONE LOVE® – quality chicken finger meals – will celebrate the arrival of its newest restaurant at 4200 W. Walnut St., at the corner of Walnut and Promenade, on Tuesday, Aug. 2.

Grand opening festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Greg Hines. First-time visitors will be treated to traditional cheers and other high-energy chants to launch the location in unique Cane’s fashion, compliments of its 50-60 newly hired crewmembers. Doors open to the public at 10 a.m.

KIX 104 Today’s Country will be on-hand from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., playing the hits. Raising Cane’s celebrants will also be invited to register to win a pair of tickets to see Journey and the Doobie Brothers on Aug. 17 at the Verizon Arena in Little Rock.

To add to the excitement, the first 20 paying, dine-in customers ages 13 and older will receive Free Cane’s for a Year! In addition, the first 100 paying, dine-in customers ages 13 and older will receive a limited-edition Cane’s Rogers T-shirt, along with a voucher for a free Box Combo – containing four fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries and a drink – that may be redeemed on a subsequent visit.

“We are so excited to be growing in Arkansas and can’t wait to share our ONE LOVE with Caniacs old and new here in Rogers,” said General Manager Brandon Hines. “My crew and I can’t wait to open our doors and show local chicken connoisseurs just how great a chicken finger meal can be!”

Founded by Todd Graves in 1996 and named for his yellow Labrador, Raising Cane’s recently earned the distinction of being among the Top 10 quick service restaurant chains in the nation for 2015, according to the authoritative Sandelman & Associates Quick-Track study, based on food quality, customer service, cleanliness and other important factors.

In addition to its focus on chicken fingers, Raising Cane’s is renowned for its commitment to active involvement in its local communities. The restaurant is a Proud Sponsor of University of Arkansas Athletics and is developing relationships with the high schools in Rogers and Bentonville as well.

On Wed., July 27, Hines and his fellow crewmembers volunteered with the Rogers Parks Department for a trail cleanup day.

“We were proud to pitch in with the Parks Department for our pre-opening service project,” said Hines. “But we’re just getting started with our support of the local community. You’ll see us getting heavily involved with the local school system and with many other local not-for-profits in the weeks and months ahead.”

Hours of operation at the new Rogers restaurant are Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 Midnight. Arkansas’ second Raising Cane’s marks the 276th restaurant in its nationwide system.
