Raising Cane’s Brings Its ONE LOVE® to Richardson

From Six Flags Over Texas to the booming city of McKinney, the Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers revolution is on the move across the Metroplex, and Caniacs in Richardson will testify to that when they welcome the latest DFW addition of the Louisiana-based chain this week!

The new restaurant, located at 320 S. Plano Road, just north of East Spring Valley Road by Berkner High School, opens on Thursday, June 12, and promises a grand opening worthy of the addictive chicken fingers themselves. The location complements Cane’s well-established restaurant at the northwest corner of Coit and Campbell, giving Richardson-area Caniacs two convenient options for getting their chicken fingers fix.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and other local dignitaries will take place at 9:30 a.m., and doors open at 10 a.m. First-time visitors will be treated to traditional cheers and other high-energy chants to launch the location in unique Cane’s fashion, compliments of its newly hired crewmembers.

In addition, the first 100 paying, dine-in customers will receive a commemorative Richardson Cane’s T-shirt, along with a voucher for a free Box Combo – containing four fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries and a drink – that may be redeemed on a subsequent visit.

Known for its ONE LOVE® – quality chicken finger meals – Raising Cane’s mission extends beyond the kitchen and into the community with each grand opening, and Richardson is no exception. On Friday, June 6, General Manager Nick Titus and his crewmembers organized a cleanup at Duck Creek Park, beautifying the trails and walkways around Duck Creek.

“The city of Richardson is a big part of me, and I’m very excited to work for a company like Raising Cane’s that is dedicated to giving back to its local communities,” Titus said. “Caniacs in Richardson have been buzzing about our new restaurant for weeks. We’re excited to be a part of such a great community and we can’t wait to serve them our ONE LOVE, quality chicken finger meals.”

Between June 12 and 19, customers of the newest Raising Cane’s will also be invited to participate in the company’s “Give Back Giveaway” tradition, in which one customer will win a $1,000 donation to his or her local charity of choice, along with Free Cane’s for a Year.

The Richardson opening marks the 24th restaurant in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, the 58th in the state of Texas and the 188th system-wide. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to midnight.
