Popular chicken finger restaurant with commitment to community service to celebrate grand opening on Broadway this Thursday
As if one Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers could possibly be enough to satisfy all the Caniacs in Pearland…
The popular Louisiana-based chain known for its ONE LOVE® – quality chicken finger meals – will hold its latest grand opening on Thursday, Oct. 29, marking the second Raising Cane’s in Pearland, the 21st in the Houston market, the 80th in Texas and the 241st overall in its nationwide system.
Located at 1601 Broadway St, at the intersection of FM 518 and Dixie FM Road, the new restaurant will kick off the festivities at 9:30 a.m. with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, local fire, police and city officials, and other honored guests.
First-time visitors will be treated to traditional cheers and other high-energy chants to launch the location in unique Cane’s fashion, compliments of its 45-50 newly hired crewmembers. Doors open to the public at 10 a.m.
To add to the opening day excitement, the first 20 paying, dine-in customers ages 13 and older will receive Free Cane’s for a Year! In addition, the first 100 paying, dine-in customers ages 13 and older will receive a free Cane’s Pearland T-shirt, along with a voucher for a free Box Combo – containing four fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries and a drink – that may be redeemed on a subsequent visit.
“It’s safe to say that Pearland is home to a large and growing population of loyal Caniacs, so we’re all excited to bring them another great option for getting their chicken finger fix,” said General Manager Elida Marron. “This also gives us another wonderful opportunity to provide even more support to the schools and other non-profit organizations that make Pearland such a great place to live, work, play and eat.”
On Oct. 23, Marron and her crewmembers volunteered at the Pearland Animal Control & Adoption Center, bathing and walking the dogs, cleaning cages and helping out with other needed chores.
“Pet welfare is one of Raising Cane’s five focus areas for community service, and the adoption center in Pearland is a really terrific organization,” said Marron. “We’re proud to dedicate some time prior to our grand opening to pitch in and do our part to help those sweet pups find their forever homes.”
Founded by Todd Graves in 1996 and named for his yellow Labrador, Raising Cane, the rapidly growing chain recently earned the distinction of being among the top four quick service restaurant chains in the nation for 2014, according to the authoritative Sandelman & Associates Quick-Track study, based on food quality, customer service, cleanliness and other important factors.
Hours of operation at the new Pearland restaurant are Sunday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 Midnight.
