Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

Chicken Finger Takeover Continues in Dallas

Raising Cane’s to open Metroplex’s 31st restaurant at intersection of Forest & Central this Thursday

Caniacs will soon have another convenient location for getting their chicken finger fix in Dallas.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the Louisiana-based chain known for its ONE LOVE® – quality chicken finger meals – will hold its latest grand opening on Thursday, Nov. 5, marking the 31st Raising Cane’s in the DFW Metroplex, the 81st in Texas and the 244th overall in its nationwide system.

Located at 11748 North Central Expressway in Dallas, at the southeast corner of Forest Lane and Central, the new restaurant will kick off the festivities at 9:30 a.m. with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce and other honored guests. KISS-FM radio personality Billy the Kid will join the fun from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

First-time visitors will be treated to traditional cheers and other high-energy chants to launch the location in unique Cane’s fashion, compliments of its 45-50 newly hired crewmembers. Doors open to the public at 10 a.m.

To add to the opening day excitement, the first 20 paying, dine-in customers ages 13 and older will receive Free Cane’s for a Year! In addition, the first 100 paying, dine-in customers ages 13 and older will receive a free Cane’s Dallas T-shirt, along with a voucher for a free Box Combo – containing four fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries and a drink – that may be redeemed on a subsequent visit.

“Dallas is already home to more Raising Cane’s than any other city, but the local Caniacs can’t seem to get enough!” said General Manager Shaytoa Hendrix, who previously served as operations manager at the Greenville location and recently helped open Raising Cane’s first international restaurant in Kuwait. “My Cane’s at Forest and Central couldn’t be in a better location, and the crew can’t wait to start serving up our ONE LOVE to all the folks that live, work and play near here.”

On Oct. 30, Hendrix and 15 of her crewmembers took the opportunity prior to their grand opening to volunteer at the local Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas, helping set-up for their upcoming Halloween Carnival. They also supplied prizes and other items for the event.

“Active community involvement is such a huge part of Raising Cane’s culture, so we were so excited to pitch in at the Boys & Girls Club by helping with their carnival,” said Hendrix. “We’ve also started partnering with the nearby schools, including Richland College, and look forward to supporting other organizations in the community in the months and years to come.”

Hours of operation at Dallas’ newest restaurant are Sunday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
