In November 2007, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers® extended its family to The Woodlands, Texas. In January 2008, Jesson Gil became its proud owner, joining a business committed to its Crew, its Customers and its community and focused on Cane's ONE LOVE®—quality Raising Cane's Chicken Finger® Meals.
Prior to joining Raising Cane’s, Jesson worked in the fast food industry for 17 years. While in college, he held multiple jobs—unloading trucks for UPS, stocking at Wal-Mart, waiting tables, cooking breakfast at a local restaurant, and working in a library. He worked three jobs while attending college full time.
After earning his MBA in 2001, Jesson applied to Raising Cane’s for a position as District Manager, and they offered him ownership of the Restaurant. A resident of The Woodlands since 2001, Jesson was excited to join a Company that would allow him to contribute to the community on a much greater scale. Jesson proudly maintains the Raising Cane’s philosophy of providing a place in the community where people can receive high-quality food served by a friendly Crew in an environment that is clean, safe, and fun.
“I love Raising Cane’s values,” says Jesson. “I like that we close for holidays. That aligns with my family values. Jesson, along with his wife and children, currently resides in The Woodlands and remains actively involved in the community.
